For the purpose of healthy communities, what we need is an education system (and society) based on and aiming for failure and mistakes. Education on how to fail and make mistakes will limit-always be more relevant than on how to succeed. Success at success is fickle, success at failure sticks with you and prepares you demonstrably better for life (including success at success). A very large majority of us will never succeed in even a small majority of things we try, and none of us will ever always succeed. So let’s stop lying to ourselves and our children about what to expect, plan, aim and educate yourself and others for. It’s not helping.
